    Matter of Balance Class For ages 55 and older. Matter of Balance is designed to manage concerns of falling through balancing and strengthening exercises. Includes discussions and education to help prevent falls. This 8-week class meets every Thursday. Snacks are provided. Provided free of charge from Title III funding administered by the PTRC.

    No-Frills Trail 5K - Just $5! The No-Frills Trail 5K is a series of trail runs (or hikes, walks or whatever speed you'd like). We just want people to get out, move and have a good time! Since this is not a fancy 5k, we’ll only be providing a well-marked 5K course and a clock so you can see your time as you finish. Registration and fees will be taken on race day. So...     Winter Walkabout - Haw River Trail/Longmeadow Access Grab a friend and get out for a walkabout in the woods at a local hiking hot spot. The hike is about 3 miles on natural surface trail over rolling terrain. Wear comfortable walking shoes or boots. Bring a water bottle and an extra layer. Trekking poles recommended. All ages welcome, but under 16 must be accompanied by an adult/ Dogs welcome! Hike starts at 2:30 so arrive a few minutes before.
