Recruitment Open House

Can you see yourself as a Burlington Police Officer?

The Burlington Police Department frequently hosts an open house. If you attend one, you will be able to meet officers and executive staff members, learn about the hiring process and our benefits package, tour the station, and see demonstrations from many of our special divisions, including our K9 Unit, SWAT, Traffic Section, and more. Check back on our Facebook or here to see when we will host our next one.

College seniors preparing for full-time employment, students currently enrolled in a Basic Law Enforcement Training program, professionals considering a career change, and sworn law enforcement officers interested in making a move to a different agency are welcome to join us. The BPD sponsors a limited number of cadets to go through the BLET program.
